Which style did you shoot?

Our club is mainly long bows, but I shoot a compound along with a few others  It's more fun to pull arrows out of the butt than searching the bushes like the longbow guys and gals

I still use an old fiberglass Bear long bow with a buck hide leather handle. You have to actually have skill to hit the target!

Archery is hard even with all the bells and wistles. So many variables in how you stand/ hold/ release or if you wobble fart laugh etc and even then your bow/ sights can go out of tune! It's a good laugh though.
Just a shame you can't hunt with a bow in the UK.

Bow Hunting Season here: Sept. 18 - Nov. 18 and Nov. 29 - Jan. 9, 2011. Only 12 injuries and 2 deaths related to bows and beers this year too. Right on!

It's the good ol' Thanksgiving Day holiday on or about November 27th where the Dutch settlers nearly starved to death and the local native American tribe helped to keep them alive because the winter was worse than they had expected. So the dutch settlers gave them a giving of thanks with lots of food (it wasn't wild turkey at the time. I believe it was eagle...). Then after the feast the settlers began their long history of forked tongues and the 300 years war between the invaders and native Americans still continue today. Just visit any native American casino and loose all of your money in a tax-free environment. :king:
