You need to sign up with the key - the links should be there when you get the key on fileplay. You have to sign register the key with a security layer account, then register an EA account AND then link these two together. Then go to http://play.battlefield-heroes.com/ , you'll be prompted for the security layer (Username + Password) details, then you have to sign in (Email + Password) on the actual site. Then press the HUGE PLAY NOW! button to run the installer (only works with IE/Firefox). Once installed you just redo the above to login to the site and press Play Now! It won't work if you run the .exe from the installed directory on your HDD.

Once you've selected your character and are at the main menu > Options > Settings and it should be there (top left options area)

Options is also the place were you connect to bookmarked servers (Tab + F5 when in a server to mark it) - I haven't actually worked out if you can connect direct to a server using an IP. You can search for your buddies to join their server - otherwise I just use the Play Now! matchmaking button.

I play mainly as Remizov - National Army Commando. Also, choose carefully because you can only create 4 character and can't delete atm. So make sure you have at least one character in each faction otherwise we can never play on the same team
