Postby [SCUM] McPhil » 13 May 2008, 02:40

MSI (MICRO Star International Co., LTD), is a Taiwanese computer and components manufacturer for both SOHO level and high-end gaming components, has now announced the MSI Wind PC; a competing product to the ever popular ASUS EEE PC. The EEE PC launched loaded with Linux as it's operating system, but now has a Windows XP version available. The MSI Wind PC will launch with with a favour of Linux installed (unannounced which version of Linux) however MSI states a Windows edition will be available as well. The MSI Wind PC will ship with the new Intel Atom processor (1.0GHz or 1.6GhZ). You can select an 8-inch or 10-inch display (max resolution of 1024 by 768). The hard drive options will be the usual 2.5-inch hard disk drive and the Solid State Drive (SSD) as an option for data storage. 1GB of Memory will be standard. How much will these put you out? MSI has set the price range from £299 to £899 depending on the features and in a variety of colours.
