Cindy McCain, wife of failed 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, and their daughter Meghan McCain have posed for photos endorsing pro-gay marriage forces for the state of California fighting against Proposition 8 (Prop 8) on the NOH8 website: http://www.noh8campaign.com/



John McCain, long time senator of the state of Arizona, helped to pass Arizona Proposition 102 which became known as the Arizona Marriage Protection Amendment to its state constitution. Senator McCain's opposition to gay marriage remains unchanged still today.

Today, out of the 50 USA states only 5 states, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont, legally allow same-sex marriages.
