Ok iv not been on the last 4 or 5 days as my laptop went nuclear, he kept rocking back and forward in the corner mumbling about a corrupt boot file, after some electroshock therapy to wipe his first hard drive he managed to look up and smile before goin back into his muttering mess again, so I decided to copy his 2nd hdd to a friends mobile hdd to save as much of him as I could, and I thot Id run a virus scan to make sure and it turns out he had over 42 virus's and umpteen adware files, so I had to go all the way, slap him up a bit and wipe both Hdd's, he seems ok so far, but he's lost all the add-ons I gave him as presents, so I need your help to get him back up to working order

What would you say is the best all in one video/music player etc, DivX, winamp, realplayer, wmplayer, vlc, wmp classic?, already got the all in one codec pack and firefox and if you can think of any other things that could be usefull to use, just say

PS. I was bored so I thought I would refer to my laptop in 3rd person....sad I know just dont say it

vlc player is very good.

Spybot is a must I would say.

If you have 42 virii just blast the drive. Wipe and Reload time.

I use GOM player, it plays every video file out there, even thoes pesky .MVK files!

Personnally I swear by Winamp for general Juke-Boxery. VLC for anything video related.

I use Media Player Classic / VLC for video and winamp for music on XP and the stock Ubuntu media software

I use WMP with Klite codecs. Got VLC and WMP classic for backup on the odd occasion it doesn't function correctly.
