What the hell is wrong with us...? Earth population has been in space less than 50 years and already "space junk" is cluttering and causing hazardous and risky conditions. >:-(

We need a bunch of these flying around in orbit shooting the dead satellites. They put a huge cannon on it and as they abondon the spy station one the spy astronauts fired it. You can see the entire video at the Nova website.



That would take care of the big junk and turn it into little junk! BLAM!!!

Just after WWII. Circa 1950's something. The USA and Russia both had secret space spy programs but the Russians had it actually working. Russian had assembled an entire grid of New York city and put together strike plans from Solovetski Islands. And no one knew about it until 40 some years later. I can't remember exactly why the programs shut down, but I think it was the beginning of the digital photo era and they could put micro cameras on satellites which loops the tangent back to all the clutter and rubbish in orbit.
