i am in my new flat
its great but empty as i smashed most of my old furniture up
no sign of a phon line yet never mind broadband
i am on my bro's comp atm so can pop in regular

why dont you get one for the mobile broadband packages from one of the many suppliers? there handy if you live in a flat, and are much much faster at getting set up compared to hardwired BB.

try carphonewarehouse m8 they have some good deal's on ...

just an option for you m8, as i had to wait about 6 months before my BB was up and running when i got into my flat, BT sucked ass, totally their fault, and i have hated them ever since lol.

or 12 months, depends on what package you want, seems nowerdays everything has a 12 month contract tied to it, and more and more are increasing to 18 months, soon everything will be longer contracts, which is pretty shitty

tommee why dont you get a bt line and broadband? I had bt broadband in my last home and I can't fault it . Also, everything gets put on one bill and you pay every 3 months.

Or, Sky bb (what I have now) is ok and cheaper than bt but you still need a bt line.

There are a few out there now who provide the phone line as well. TalkTalk you get free bb but I would imaging thats shite or they restrict p2p etc. Bulldog is another one.

Keep away from Tiscali mate as my mum had major trouble trying to get her line fixed.

yeah, MBA has ADSL over there and he's well chuffed with it. His upload speed is crap (slower than dial-up) but his download speed is rated at 8MB but actual is about 6MB. So not to bad.
