Small loss, don't like Activision putting pressure on Treyarch to have CoD: Vietnam out for Christmas though. Reckon if they went by their own pace do could do a decent job.
WaW wasn't a complete cluster f**k.
Plus, they actually looked after their players, 12 post release maps and numerous fixes.

WaW is a good model for future versions but they put too much effort into the zombie cult fantasy. I don't blame them for not doing the next version. If Activision lets a dev cluster fook the game with forcing users to use their servers, can't join a game at whim, becomes a time investment just to get a game going... them a smart dev team would avoid that environment.

Err...i think all COD games are going to be running on IWNET from now on....not 100% but that's what I got told from a developer.
