The 3-inch-long creature is a Lyssianasid amphipod, which is distantly related to shrimp, has left scientists musing that if shrimp-like creatures can live in such a harsh environment, what about other hostile places such as Europa, a frozen moon of Jupiter.

To be able to travel to Io or Europa and travel around in a under water pod would be the dream of a life-time...

Currently watching "Wonders of the Solar System" on bbc. It really is breathtaking, especially last nights one on titan where there are lakes of liquid methane and a methane cycle like our own water cycle. Absolutely fascinating programme.
