Merrill Lynch CEO Spent Over $1M to Redecorate Office

Postby [SCUM] McPhil » 23 Jan 2009, 15:36

14 million dollars of the US finacial ballout money spent on the CEO of Merrill Lynch office redecoration. $1400 on a rubbish can. $37,000 spent on curtains. That's US tax payer's money being put to work... Anger doesn't even begin to describe what I'm feeling right now. First CEO of AIG paying for his holidays on bailout money and now the CEO of Merrill Lynch...

Hey a $1400 trash can and pretty curtains would make me work twice as hard!

Talking of tax payer's money I'd want my money back from the inauguration, 140$mil was it? Should've been just Barack doing his magic for 17mins. Thats all you needed.

Yeah, $140M used to put the service industry to work for the most part. Putting people to work is never a bad place to put money I think. $1.4M on a new office desk when the money is supposed to be made available as low interest loans to businesses having a difficult time staying afloat just chaps my ass.

You should run for office in your new state! Military officers running for office are doing a great job. Look at Jim Webb in West Virginia. He's a freaking hero for the people of West Virginia. He's a moderate and doing a bang up job. There are a few junior senators from the south who are ex-mil xo and co. They are pushing forth a really good agenda.

I hear Illinois needs a new Governor!
