3rd time lucky. Closer to work this time, in the middle of nowhere to a town called Congleton on the other side of Cheshire. Be afk till next week but my connection is already live which means I'm straight back on. Going up to 8meg adsl from 1meg, woop woop!

I was speaking to a chap from Congleton on the phone today. He was manager of the Gamestation therin.

No idead what the spots like, but 8mb adsl ain't too shabby.

I presume its "Up to 8 meg" which I have and get ~3.

when I had "upto 8meg" I was getting 6.5meg - Sky ADSL

Speedy you should take a look at o2 bb. I am going to sign up soon. adsl 2 "upto 20meg" and 2.5meg upload.

newnet are the only provider who don't have contracts. I can't take out a contract because I'm only here for a few months.

have a look round mate there are a good few isp's offering 1 month contract now. Same goes for the phone line so you can find some good deals out there
