ps3 40 or 60gb

ok, so I have nearly saved enough for a ps3 but what one do I get!? Is it worth spending the extra for the 60gb model and what does the 60 have that the 40 doesn't?

you do know that you can put any 2.5" drive in,they are standard laptop ones...

Depends if you want to play PS2 games on it. If so, you need to get the 60gig one.

If not, cheaper the better and do what outlaw said

I will recommend to my friends to get the lowest cost model and then I'll get them a freakin' huge notebook drive and put in it. Notebook drives are really cheap right now. Swapping out the drive is really easy but you can crack the housing so if you do it, do rush and take your time making sure you have to correct tools.

im not sure if they have changed this, but when first made the 40gb did NOT have the hdmi port, but the 60gd did have it, again not sure if they changedthat

All models have hdmi,only difference is on the 40gig,they took out the card reader and 2 usb ports.

There is not set release date as of yet, it was scheduled to come out around October 2008 in the US.
