Re: EVE Online questions..
in a fight? ive been plodding along quite nicely in 0.5 hauling minerals for money and been popped by 3 cruisers in about 30 seconds, they all lost their ships but compared to the haul they got, it was chump change.
never underestimate the effect the credit crunch is having on the universe, people are getting desperate.
all this talk of eve makes me want to play again..... might try downloading it again, only the million or so Gigs.

did you just have it in your cargohold. or did you have it in containers in your cargohold
the ship scanners cant scan inside containers.
gankers are a pain

Re: EVE Online questions..
luckily it wasn't all my stuff, was just moving alot of minerals and a fair few salvaged motherboards (about 70-80mils worth) for a in-game-buddy and got high sec ganked.
i didn't pay him for the lost stuff, and he didn't pay me for the ship.
that reminds me, dont fall for anyone being nice in EVE, nobody in EVE has a heart or what we would know as blood pumping through thier veins. if someone is trying to give you something for free, its probably a trick, if somethings too good to be true, it probably is, if you find a lone cruiser in low sec at a belt ratting, its probably got backup.
be careful and fly safe!!!

Re: EVE Online questions..
i know how you feel, there just isn't enough time to play all the games you want....
and add to that, the average EVE user plays for 3 hours a day, if i converted all my gaming time to EVE i would just come up short.
its worth it for those evenings where nothings happening, you can afford to chill out, fly through space with a MASSIVE playlist on the go, join a fleet, get on vent and joke about as you wait for a bum to fly through your gatecamp
:D:D
