is it possible to download video clips of the net. and save them to maybe a pendrive?

so you have the clip on your comp rather than using your connection allowance.
this is for a workmate who only has an expensive prepaid dongle for his net connection on his laptop
he wants to use 'how to play' guitar clips/vids but it would cripple his wallet just surfing?

any ideas. thanx

all depends on the format,if its from youtube i think they are .FLV and there are a lot of progs that will enable you to download then convert to whatever format you want.

Just find out the format then type it into google.

if you browse to a page with a video. look in the bottom right of FF and you will see a green arrow. Click that and select the video to download
