Step 1: Install and Open Steam

Step 2: Join the Scum.co.uk - ScumGaming Group @ http://steamcommunity.com/groups/scumgaming

Step 3: Open your steam console, and look at the bottom "Friends" tab (see attachment #1).

Step 4: Click on the down arrow of the friend you want to game with and select Join Game in the drop down menu (see attachment #2).

Step 5: If the server they are playing on is full, or Steam bugger f**ks you because IWnet will snap your balls off because it's a horrible matching engine, then hit Shift + Tab keys together. This will open Steam in game and you can start chatting with the Friend(s) you want to game with and bother them to leave their game and start a game with you.

Hope this helps. See you online soon!

Yeah, you can't bind the shift key to chat and something else at the same time. Irritating.

I'll have a game in about an hour if you're still around. I'm only lvl 19 or 20. Nothing uber like these other bastards around here!

lmao feisty is that you?
i dunno about these ingame messages. dont expect shit from me at the mo. i'm struggling as it is keeping my haggis arse alivee as it is. getting there though. just need to retrain my hands to use WASD instead of the arrow keys seeing as the tossers who made the game can't be arsed coding the controls properly. 10+ years of gaming skills out the window just for that. fekkers

Anyhoo i'll see you out there or in there or wherever :)

lol Whisp cant teach the old dog new tricks as they say, when in game press shift&tab to access the Steam overlay for friends etc to invite, then there is a icon to click to close the noverlay and return to game.

Mcphil i havent had any invites from you to join a game, my in game name is Faust not Tseif though :)
There was a Mcphil in one of my games last night but you werent showing as in game in steam and the ping was 2 low for someone over the pond :)

I played a few game with Rain coat the other night which was fun.

The game has some really nice features but alos some really fecking anoying issues :)

These NAT settings work for me. The first NAT setting I've blocked out the first 3-digits so you haxzors won't bother me. The first 3-digits should be in the high-range higher than 480xx. You should have at least a 5 port range which is why I have XXX09 and XXX14 open. For whatever reason if I only have one port open the NAT doesn't stay open 100% of the time.
