Re: info pls?
Gigabyte usually has a high failure rate. If you like MSI or ASUS, I'd go with one of them.
if your i5 is an LGA 1156 then for gaming, the Maximus III Extreme, Formula or GENE are great options. if your Core i5 is an LGA 1366 then the Rampage III Extreme or GENE are great options for a gamer board. If you're looking at MSI let me know and I can suggest.

Re: info pls?
My setup Tommee is
Antec Sonata III with 450W Eco-something PSU
ASUS Maximus III Formula
i5 750 @ 2.60
4gb Corsair RAM DDR3 1600MHz
Sapphire 5770 1gb Vapor-X
Really pleased with it (credit to McPhil in helping me loads when I was buying it)
Might help you out. I think you could still easily run two cards inside my case but would need a bigger PSU

Re: info pls?
out of curiosity, if your going to do crossfire, do the cards need to be the same (eg 2 x 5770), in the same range (eg could 5770 and 550 work) or just as long as there the same make (eg could 4870 and 5970 work)
was wondering for if i buy a new graph card

Re: info pls?
I think it is limited to the same generation. Still better than SLI which I think is pretty much limited to using the same card.
Would be nice to have 4 of these

The Antec gaming cases are some of the best for one reason: Steel. They don't use thin aluminum in the frame of their chassis so this gives you a sturdier case and one that doesn't warp under hard cracking your motherboard. I've built a lot of PCs using the Antec Twelve Hundred and Three Hundred. I don't know much about the Six or Nine Hundred other than what is written about them. The Three and Twelve Hundred cases are smartly built. The 200mm case fan in the top of the case is a great idea. On the Twelve Hundred their are little (very little) on/off toggle switches on the back side that turn on or off the blue LED lighting on each fan independently and/or turns the fan speeds up or down as well. A lot of tech and thought went into the Twelve Hundred. If they ever launch a Twelve Hundred Two or Plus model it would be nice to integrate a factory front panel fan and light switch as it can be a pain in the arse messing with the little switches all the time. On all cases, it's nice to have the USB port on the top front panel. Keeping in mind they are only USB 2.x so you can have your USB 3 on the front panel (if even this applies to anyone yet...).
Keep in mind Dual Vapor-X 5770s will create a LOT of heat. Having a single 120mm rear fan at the top rear and the 200mm fan at the absolute top will be very useful. I don't believe the Six Hundred comes with any front case fans but the specs state you have room for:
- 2 x front 120mm fans for HDDs (optional)
- 1 x side 120mm fan for graphics cards (optional)
Get these as you'll need them: http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=MTcxMQ==
The TriCool has the little toggle fan speed switch on it. Put the front panel fans on low and the side video card fan on Medium or High depending on your ambient room temperature. If you can find the TriCool fans with Ball Bearings they are worth the extra 1 or 2 quid per fan as they are really quiet and last a long time (still need to blow out your case with a reverse vacuum blower - NEVER VACUUM YOUR CASE!!!). And yes, you need more blue LEDs!!
So you've got a:
Case: Yes
CPU: Yes
Mobo: Not Yet
Memory: Yes
Video Card: Yes, adding a 2nd
HDD: Yes
Power Supply: Yes
Optical drive? DVD-RW or Blu-Ray?
Front panel card reader? http://www.priceguidenetwork.com/athena ... in1-b.html
Aftermarket CPU cooling? Probably my personal favorite - http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/cpu/0 ... etail.html But there are tons of different options if you even want to go there.
Good luck!

Re: info pls?
I bought an aftermarket cooling system because the one you get with the i5 is a bit pants! You can get a big heatsink + fan one for not very much
I have this one... its cheap as fook http://www.ebuyer.com/product/176157 or you could get water cooled system which isn't that expensive http://www.ebuyer.com/product/177411

Just go with the stock fan and see how that does you. If you need more cooling then looking into it next spring before the temps heat up for the summer. You should be more than fine with the weather in the pipeline.
