Re: Breach
Lot of time spent on hiding cover and destruction. I wonder how the game play is? Sounds were a bit wonky.

Re: Breach
Was recorded on a mobile phone, and it's PC as well.
for a downloadable game it looks pretty good...cant argue with £15

Atomic Games, a developer of simulations for US military and intelligence agencies and a pioneer in military action games, announced today it has the certified gold master of Breach for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC. Breach will officially launch on January 26th, 2011 worldwide on both platforms.
Atomic is also detailing the Windows PC version of Breach which will launch in both download form and at major retailers. The Windows PC version will feature support for larger explosions, particle effects and more through NVIDIA® PhysX® technology. It will also feature a higher performance Hardcore Mode for players looking to play the way operatives train. As one final note for Windows PC gamers everywhere, Atomic listened and included dedicated server support, with remote administration.
Breach will cost 1200 Microsoft points through Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 or be available on Windows PC for $19.99. It has been rated “T” for Teen by The Entertainment Software Association.
Breach is unlike any other game. It is the first military shooter to use precise and massive destruction to change the very nature of multiplayer combat. Combined with an advanced cover system where players can use cover even while it is being destroyed around them, Breach enables real-world tactics never possible before now. Breach offers this destruction and active cover system all in a package that costs less than US$20.00.

BREACH Hardcore Mode Detailed
Atomic Games, a developer of simulations for US military and intelligence agencies and a pioneer in military action games, announced today the details of Hardcore Mode in Breach™, for the Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows® PC. Breach’s Hardcore Mode promises players the opportunity to test themselves and their tactics in an FPS like never before all in a title that costs less than $20.00.
When Atomic first showed off Breach to gamers, the game’s realism caused some organizations that use other Atomic training systems to show interest in using a modified version of Breach as a training aid for their operatives. Since Breach was made from the beginning to offer new kinds of authenticity not available in other shooters, adding in a sim-like HardCore Mode for both operatives and gamers was not difficult. Between its robust destruction and active cover technologies, it can simulate aspects of urban warfare better than any other multiplayer title. Add in its ability to simulate small arms fire, including range, velocity and caliber, and its purpose is clear. Breach, unlike any other current game, is about using cover and denying its use to the enemy, allowing for the true element of surprise and the ability to use real world tactics in a virtual environment. When players use the new Hardcore Mode in conjunction with the Sole Survivor game type, they will be able to experience Breach similar to the way real world Operators will as they train. Some of the components of Hardcore Mode are listed below.
Hardcore Mode:
New “Sole Survivor” Game Type: Each player is given only one life and no re-spawns, causing them to move and shoot with much more care and precision in this Team Deathmatch-like competition.
Minimal HUD experience – Aiming reticule and other items turned off, while certain other items are left in as real life affords greater situational awareness.
Disabling of Mini-Map radar system – removes the ability to use the radar to track enemy and friendly forces, players must be more aware of their surroundings.
Disabling of ammo counter and weapon fire-mode display.
Disabling of Kill Cam system: No longer gives you a hint about the person who killed you or where they were located — keeping your effective kill locations hidden.
Modified Damage Settings creating a more lethal experience: More realistic damage from all weapons, making direct fire fights highly lethal. Use cover to gain the upper hand.
Hardcore mode can be applied to any of the existing maps and Game types: Creating a unique twist for the serious gamers across the board.

A Few features..
Perks:
Explosive Personality
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 1 Agent
This perk increases the explosive radius of all shockwave weapons, such as M203s, Breach Charges and RPGs.
The Bad Ass
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 2 Operative
The Bad Ass perk is designed for the confident. It removes half of the player’s health, but will return double the XP if you can live long enough to earn it.
Vendetta
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 5 Commander
The Vendetta perk will place an IR marker on your killer for a short time after re-spawn, allowing easy retribution…if so desired.
Plus 11 More...
Gadgets:
Bionic Ear
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 2 Operative
The Bionic Ear amplifies and localizes enemy sounds such as footsteps and weapons fire, allowing you to locate enemies, even through walls.
Remote Motion Sensor
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 1 Agent
A placeable device, the Remote Motion Sensor can be placed on any surface; including ceilings. The device will then notify you when an enemy motion is detected within its operating radius.
IR Sniper Detector
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 2 Operative
The Sniper Detector works by bouncing an IR beam off any scoped weapon that is within the user’s view. This creates a glare on the lens, helping you locate snipers.
M2 SLAM Charge
CLASS/LEVEL OBTAINED: Level 4 Lieutenant
The SLAM, primarily an anti vehicle landmine, uses a magnetic influence sensor to detect a vehicle’s proximity. It is also armed with a passive infrared sensor, sensitive enough to detect enemy infantry.

Quote to remember from this video: "Sun Tzu tells us you always wanna take the high road. Sun Tzu was not a special Forces Warrior."
With twenty-three weapons to choose from, each with its own attachment options, BREACH gives players even more options to choose from than Bad Company 2: Vietnam, which released last month to a ton of praise. Also, there are four different gametypes to choose from including Infiltration (Domination in CoD), Convoy (a moving Search and Destroy), Retrieval (Capture the Flag), and Team Deathmatch. Players will not find a single player mode in BREACH because the game was built only for a unique multiplayer experience, so those who don't like online games will want to steer clear. The graphics may not be on par with today’s full game launches, but gameplay and controls and how they relate to players are the determining factors to whether or not BREACH will contend. If you're a player who was disgusted with the look of Blacklight Tango Down or Battlefield 1943, then maybe you're just not a fan of smaller, downloadable shooters in general.
Simply put, if you've been hankering for a change of pace from Black Ops or are tired of Bad Company 2, then at least download the free trial of BREACH when the game releases next week and find out what it really feels like to blow s**t up.
Forgot to mention, Atomic Games make Realistic Simulations for the Military and are funded by the CIA.
