People have forgotten that the tories are just as bad (if not worse). I would rather someone different got in now, even if it IS ukip.

The point is UKIP was near-BNP level of xenophobia a while back and now they've become the cuddly face of Euro Skepticism. Makes you wonder if the BNP can achieve the same thing :!:

I don't think so. When you've got your leader calling for the president of the USA to be assasinated you don't tend to have much widespread appeal. I think UKIP have managed to stay out of the headlines quite cleverly since they got rid of their last rent-a-quote fascist Robert Kilroy.
