I've gotten into high performance volvos (known as turbobricks if you've seen those guys around). Really into rally driving now, when I've got some money in a few months I'm starting local events running my daily, a 1988 340 with Renault williams power

Well in mine is a Williams hybrid built from renault clio and megane parts, there are around 100 that exist currently but the engine in mine came from the very first one ever made. It's got a ton of prototype parts that have lasted years  This is mine:

Currently it will produce 148bhp

I realise I've completely taken over this topic...

And if you think that's mildly impressive, my friend has a T5 in his 340...

2.0 16v, its the engine renault used for the WRC in the 90s. And yes it's rwd, you have to be VERY careful in the wet. On my old wheels it would start skipping on the duel carriageway in 4th. It runs 400 bar pressure in the cylinders (normally 200) so the torque increases beyond 3500 revs. It's just mental, I recommend anyone to get one if you can put up with your mates taking the piss
