[SCUM] McPhil wrote:sorry to be a forum newb as I can't go back and read but what are your system specs? Video card specifically? There are certain video cards that don't work with BC2 and I'm worried you have one of those. Otherwise, is your PC a fresh OS install or was it "on the shelf" for a bit of time? Nothing wrong with that, but might need a fresh OS install is all. Let me know your sys specs.

Its battlefield 2 not Bad company 2 btw

heres the specs I can confirm;
Windows 7 x64
I7 860
6GB DDR3
ATI 5700 series!?!?! (It says 5570 on the website so I cant be sure)
1TB HDD

I dont know how to embed the inage so heres a link

Well, your video card is pretty good. 5770 is a nice card for a moderate budget. The CPU you have is ok but it's one of the smallest in it's class of processors. It should run all current games just fine.

You might want to consider doing a completely fresh re-install of your OS if it came to you working directly off the shelf. No telling what was installed on it or who messed with it.

I AM AN UTTER FRICKING GENIUS...GENIUS I TELL YA, as it turns out the f**k up fairies had taken residence in the EA flder that bf2 normaly installs to.
So, I changed the folder to Electronic Arts like the rest of the EA games and all is now well :D, patched it to 1.5, downloaded DCONX 0.24b and PR 0.9 so thets have some fun shall we? :D
