IMPORTANT NOTE: Solid State Drives DO NOT require defragmentation. It may decrease the lifespan of the drive.
why would defraging reduce the life. I thought all defagging done was organise the files better?

Yeah your right just checked the read/ write speeds compared to a regular 7200rpm drive.
Strange because for some reason I expected them to be quicker seeing as theres no moving parts.
They do have a faster seek time but thats by the by if the transfer speeds are poo!
