Ferol, what are virgin like?

I cancelled my sky package weeks ago and its still on! I am going to downgrade from my current 8mb to virgin 2mb and take their phone as well.

Look at the ping on my speed results and you can see why I have left sky (and the tv is shite as well)!

They've been ok, had a few probs with modems and set top boxes when they were NTL but any probs were sorted quickly.
The basic SKY channels are coming back to Virgin soon anyway so the TV choice is ok. I don't watch much myself apart from family guy and a few films.
Cable is the way forward me thinks ;)

Allow me to retort !

I hardly "watch" Tv any more, because everything i want to see is available for me to download,so when i want to watch something i just go and download it at my leisure E.G ,i saw a trialer for the 2nd series of the Sarah Connor chronicles,i didnt watch it the first time around becuase i couldnt be arsed but the trailer for the second series caught my eye,so i downloaded the first series and watched them when i wanted to,same with heroes, stargate ugly betty etc.

So i think the future is going to be people watching the programs they want and paying for them and them alone.

Just my 2pc worth...oh...

just to whet your appetites...

you may well be right outlaw. I am doing away with my sky package as I have just got hold of a new hd tv and don't fancy paying sky an extra 10 quid just for the hd channels so I am going to get freesat instead. Only BBC HD and ITV HD for now but at least its free, and in a few years HD is coming to freeview.

Cheers Ferol, I think I will order virgin bb this week :)
