Temp banned because of "black screenshots" ?!

I've just been temp banned from your COD4 server because one of the admins said "Your screenshots are black". Like... err, what?

I don't know why they are black, nor do I know how to "fix" it. Obviously he immediately assumed I was cheating


I even took a screenshot myself...




So, what now?

See my screenshot above. You were the only SCUM member playing at that time (I got kicked/banned right after I took that screenshot). I don't know...

Ok m8, you seem like a good guy but we have to treat everyone who shows up black every single time. It was a joint decision so I'll have to have a word with the other admin who banned you with me (not outlaw). Hold tight - meanwhile please look into it, if theres no hacks being used then it's usually a driver problem.

It wasn't just the fact that you were showing up black though, we wouldn't permaban just for this reason

Sorry to be this way but we have to treat everyone the same, we ban countless people with the same symptoms every week who are genuine cheaters!

Like I say, hold tight and in the meantime look at evenbalance.com and google for solutions. If it does it on our server, probs does it on other servers too.

A while before I had my VPU crash and recover (ATI graphics card). But then I rebooted to see if it had changed anything but there was no one there to answer me if my SS were still black!

Yesterday, in the chat logs, I asked you in game chat

ME: "Why do you have black screenshots?"
You: c.O
ME: "Please let us know and post on the forum when you've fixed this" (resolution-tempban)

20 minutes later you returned. No post on the forum. Reviewing the available data, I decided to PermaBan you for:

1. Not posting on the forum that you fixed your blank screenshots
2. Not resolving your blank screenshots

Reasons for blank screenshots:
1. You're using malicious code to gain advantage during game play.
2. You need to update your graphic driver to the latest ATI driver and post back once this is done.

This is not personal. It is a decision to keep the server fair and balanced. Usually people who block screenshots do so to gain unfair advantage during game play. Please post back once your sort your driver situation and the PermaBan will be removed and your in game screenshots will be evaluated.

No post on the forum? Check the OP date/time. Do whatever you want. Just don't call me a liar. You said to post in the forums, I did. I did so before rejoining the server.

And when I rejoined there were SCUM members on the server and I asked "Are my screenshots still black?" No one replied. No one gave a damn, so I continued playing. And then you perma ban me. Fine.

I just don't care anymore at a point where: I get banned with no chance to explain anything, guilty until proven innocent, when I ask questions to members about the previous ban and get ignored and when afterwards I get called a liar at the forums, where I'm wasting my time trying to explain my situation.

So please, do whatever you want. I won't wast my time any further when there are thousands of servers out there where I will not be treated as a "criminal".
