Looks like there are a lot of good arguments against this ruling and for. One thing that strikes me is the slightly strange notion that a corporation is legally seen as a citizen/person. The people within a corporation (supposedly) already have a right to free speech so maybe this is slightly unnecessary. Though I read that removing McCain-Feingold will help shift the balance from the incumbent. On the balance large entities such as Unions will have the same ability to corrupt the political system as "big oil".

Not to mention, now any foreign registered business can run attack and support television ads to support or deface any candidate. The only way to regulate this is to push a bill through congress that would exempt any foreign owned entity from contributing but that probably won't happen anytime soon.
