Why Dadof3 hasn't been on COD4 lately

or BF2142 for that matter. Drag racing is my no1 hobby but the lack of drag strips while I was stationed in Germany gave me plenty of time to play games. Now I'm back in the states it's racing time!

Cool. What's the top speed you got to on that?

I used to top out at 103mph in 3rd gear. I put 4.10 gears in the rear which now allows me to use 4th gear at 105mph

My oldest brother had one of these and when he floored it your eyes would hurt there were so many G's on your face. You couldn't gun it all the way to the floor off the start or you'd torque and bend the frame box and firewall. There were so many welding beads on the strut towers from cracking but man that was a fun car. I almost bought a 1969 Mustang convertible with a 351cc Cleveland last year but just couldn't get myself to do it. So I got a 1984 VW MK1 1.8L instead!



I put a volvo fuel system in it with over injection and opened up the exhaust manifold and pipe. It'll do!

WOAH! the boss 429 is one of my dream cars. Nope mine isn't a GT500 it's just a regular 4.6L v8 GT with very few mods.
