Wolverine All formats (Pc Pics)
Been playing this more and more, very violent, follows the plot of the film and expands on it.
Very violent as i said before but even i was surprised to see how much blood and gore is on screen, for example there's a scene where you jump onto a moving helicopter, you've probably seen it in the trailers for the film but what you didn't see was Wolverine stab the co pilot through the face with his claws and then pick the pilot up and ram his head into the rotor blades!
There's a nice mini rpg feel about the game as well as there are collectables for new costumes and power ups.
The power ups though enable you to tailor the way Wolvie fights according to your style of play do you want more power in your attacks,do u want health to replenish quicker ,do you want more hits in you combos but sacrifice speed etc,all that is there.
There is a counter system, dodge system and a really good Lunge attack which u can chain together to clear out rooms of enemies.
The Bosses (of 2 i have already met) seem to be quite good, the lunge attack doest work on them all the time so you have to pick your moments well and use the dodge alot !
So if you're into Wolverine you'll love this ,its Wolverine unhinged, uncaged and inf*ckinsane.
I'd give it 8-9 out 10 if you're not a fan then it might get a little repetitive very quickly and the platform bits do tire a little,so 5-6 out of 10
oh i forgot to mention how well Wolvie's "feral" senses are implemented, they dont do much(point out points of interest) but they look nice and they help you see cloaked enemies..anyway a few screenies, more on the Facebook Page for Scum.
