Ok, having loaded a lot of these maps and then spent the last 3 hours trying to play them I have learned a few things which you need to know.

Firstly.

When installing maps they must go in 2 places.

place 1 :
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\mods\

you may not have a mods directory if you havn't create one.

Place 2:
you need to copy all the .FF files into

"X:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\zone\english"

lastly I STRONGLY suggest you get the "united_nazi_zombie_v1_1" mod, once you have this you can then load all the mods at once, saves you having to go back to load individual mods when searching for a game.

go to the main menu and choose MOD, then lauch the "united_nazi_zombie_v1_1"
then go online and look for a game.

have fun c u l8r

Mansion is a great defensive map, they have to come up the stairs, only to get a face full of pellets from my trusty double-barrel :)

we played standard last week, some of the customs are good. COD1 Police map, Anzio, LAst Christmas, Subway are all good maps. for Zombies.

I am going to be on but not until after 9..... :(
