Naughty Dog founded in 1994 became a wholly owned subsiddiary of Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001. Naughty Dog was labelled the most successful video game developer in the United States at one time by selling over 22 milliion copies worldwide of Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, Cortex Strikes Back, Crash Bandicoot 3 and Crash Team Racing prior to 2001.
